  • Zambia has over 14.5 million people.
  • Over 46% of Zambians are under the age of 15.

  • Zambia is about the size of Texas in area.
  • On October 24, Zambia is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its independence from Great Britain.
  • Lusaka is the capital city.
